Why sunset and sunrise is great micro-adventure in winter
Yeah, I know, you are probably thinking, how it could possibly be the great thing to do in winter. It’s too cold, you have to carry warm clothes in other to have additional layer when waiting, you have to carry extra dry clothes as you need to change the sweaty ones from hiking up…
But there are few feelings, that make me enjoy this moment so much!
- Positive energy – Winter is bringing me down. As much as I’m trying to stay positive, the cold and dark is killing my mood and I guess it’s the same case for many other people. Therefore, I try to go out as much as possible to get some happy endorphins thanks to exercise and to enjoy some daylight. Even better if it’s with the movie where the nature is the main hero!
- Sunset is early so you don’t have to hang around until it’s super late. And sunrise is late (currently in south Switzerland at 8am), which also means that you don’t have to wake up very early.
- Great feeling to start the working day or finish it with something different.
- And I love the moment when I’m warming up my hands holding mug of tea.
- It’s a time to meet up your friends, outdoors is safer, and you are able to maintain social distancing.
Did I persuade you to go out and explore your favourite places different way?
